The special effect arrows is also the reason why I use a mending bow too!

I use Infinity personally, but using Mending on a bow is a 100% legit choice. And the point about all the fancy arrows not working with Infinity is a good one.

You converted me to a Mending Bow user. I'm swimming in Spectral Arrows in my world thanks to bartering so I already have free arrows and I never have to worry about my bow being too expensive to repair anymore.

A big point too is you can only repair an infinity bow so many times before it takes way too much xp.

Thank you for pointing this out! People always ask me why i use mending when they find out i do. I always say i cant be bothered to fix new bows, but your reasons are better!

I normally make one of each - Inf for serious exploring (where you will need to take more than 1 stack just due to the time you are away) and mending for day to day. Each has their place

The spectral arrow point is a really good one, because if you have a Piglin Bartering setup, those come by constantly, that’s a good way to get them and adds to the reason to put Mending in your bow. You convinced me.

Real! I’ve always used a mending bow because I hate having to re-enchant things if I’ve already made them, it’s just so annoying, plus arrows are SO easy to get your hands on that I don’t see a reason why I’d even need infinity
