I have eaten Texas Roadhouse in every State in the U.S. I traveled for work. Always great, always concistance. I have never had a bad meal ...#1 in my eyes. ❤❤❤

I cook a better steak than any restaurant I've been to where a steak costs less than at least 50-bucks a plate. But, I have to admit that I am quite happy to eat a Texas Roadhouse steak if I'm traveling and can't cook my own food. And then there are those rolls -- I have to tell the server to take them away before I eat way too many of them, and go into a carb coma.

I am certain that TRH uses wet aging, because there is too much usable meat lost with dry aging. That would not be economically feasible at their price point. However, there is nothing terribly wrong with wet aging. It does improve flavor, and is a lot more cost effective than dry aging.

My biggest issue with Texas Roadhouse is grossly over salting the meat. I finally got to the point of telling them to not season the meat.

Went to the bar and ordered something to go. Asked for a bag of peanuts and the bartender said you have to get them from the host stand. On my way out, carrying my take out bag mind you, I asked for a bag and she looked at me like I was a homeless person there to rob the place. Didn’t realize the peanuts they use to hand out in buckets were a premium item now.

with my last prime rib medium rare I was totally disappointed. It came well done out of the kitchen. When I reclaimed they started argueing with me. Never again!

The price if a great steak cannot wait till i go south again just to have a road house steak and all you can eat fresh warm baked buns.

I enjoy eating at Texas roadhouse but I almost never order a steak. I think their ribeyes are inferior to those at outback and also At Longhorn. The pork chops are quite good at Texas roadhouse.

Simple answer to weedout all the BS
Steak quality is black angus beef choice
If you want a better quality then pick prime and no choice, use salt can be done at home cook it medium rare let it rest for 10 mins before eating it so the muscles fibers are not too tight and more relaxed

You can make a better steak from the grocery store with nothing but salt and pepper. Texas Roadhouse, Outback, and Longhorn etc the McDonald's of steakhouses. It will make a turd but you can do way better.

Letting a steak rest for two minutes is not enough....

Honestly I highly doubt that- I'd say at least 5 minutes
