NBA 2K25 is here, but it’s not all slam dunks and buzzer-beaters. In this video, we take a hard look at some of the gameplay mechanics that has parts of the community frustrated with some of the more prominent play styles across most game modes, that takes advantage of certain game play mechanics that stray from the "realistic" basketball claims surrounding 2K25.

Ppl always say 2k died and yeah the games have tons of glaring issues these days but majority of the reason an average player can't boot up the game and have fun is because the community. If 80% of the consistent player base only sweats and does the most toxic lineups/strategies to win of course the game isn't fun. It isn't fun for them either they just do it to say they have a high win percentage on a video game. Crazy world we live in.

thank you for speaking out and using your platform to do this. if anyone of us ppl speak out they will say we suck or get better. but if someone with your accolades speaks out it shows that even ppl at the top are tired of this. we all paid good money and have the right to speak about the product. i don’t care what anyone says the older 2ks were better and i am talking 2k20 on down. this L2 glitch is the same as the screen spamming you get caught onto the big and can’t move. that doesn’t happen in real life and if you play like this you aren’t good you are taking advantage of a flaw in the game and exploiting it 🤷🏽‍♂️.

I think that’s the beauty of older 2Ks because of diverse dribbling No gate kept animations we just balled. Even in comp games nobody was just sitting corner and screen setting. Post scorers, slashers, dribblers.. everybody had an identity but also the badges mattered then

Nah it’s crazy what we’ve watched this game turn into from earlier years. No one is original anymore half the community makes the same build and plays the same way. It’s more wanting a win now than having fun. Obviously it’s not fun to lose but it gets to a point

The LT spam, and the High screen spam right now is the amount of times i play 5’9 99 3pt and 99 ball handle guards abusing their centers screens is sick. Like straight up 1-3 dribbles u get pulled into the screen launcher
