- Ridiculous VC costs
- 2 hour ban from lagging out due to their servers (not our fault)
- Terrible recycled season rewards
- Not being allowed to transfer VC/builds from previous games
- Heavy RNG. Not being in full control of our player/game
- Passing/Playmaking not being as effective as it use to be
- Getting rid of useful badges and mashing them all together (with RNG it doesn’t correctly run)
- Paint defense being trash
- Rebounding is tied in with RNG
- Low risk profiles
- Real Player %
- Favoring Post Scorers/Sim nation
- “9, 000 new animations” (all under 6’4)
- Lackluster dribbling animations for heights 6’10 and above
- Not penalizing cheaters
- Finishing being OP/while nerfing dunk meters
- Not big differences from some gold badges and legend
- The hardest pass to make is always an inbound pass
- Park being super delayed
- Full squads are able to play a squad of 2-3 in rec or proving grounds (shouldn’t be allowed)
- Not telling us all the “gameplay updates” on patches
- Useless “stability issues” fixes (nothing fixed on their end)
- Matchmaking isn’t implemented correctly
- Out of bounds sensitivity is too high
- Lack of creativity with player hair styles, city clothes, tattoos, and setting decor
- Bad catch animations (forcing you to run out of bounds)
- Left stick dribbling
- Patching MC VC methods
- Lack of fluidity with dribbling moves
- Rhythm shooting
- Moving Green Window
- Favoring specific build heights in the builder (allowing more attribute room)
- Catch and shoot animations slowing down or speeding up jump shots
- Missing wide open layups
- Not having harsh penalties for people actively selling on purpose
- Nobody asked for a city, contributes  to latency and they don’t even make it functional or visibly pleasing
- Terrible rep rewards for players that grind the game
- Not finding games fast enough
- Lack of MC content
- No PlayNow 10v10
- 2 way tenacity almost being useless
- Not sticking with what works best
- Removing and adding unnecessary mechanics
- MC story is dull, not enjoyable or creative as 14-17

They took the pull the chair animations out the game, but then gave post scorers moves that they previously only had access to when they got takeover. Literally throwing you.

I’ll never understand how the game is supposed to be “realistic” but the ankle breaker animations have people hitting entire yoga workouts mid game.

This criticism is needed from all content creators. It’s been too many years of many CCs ignoring obvious issues and just putting out “positive content” enabling 2K to continue their crappy practices.

I’ll say it again so everyone stops being confused. 2k basketball is a MONEY GENERATOR. Not a video game. The game doesn’t have a physics engine and they are NOT trying to achieve any type of realism it has an animation based algorithm designed to keep you addicted and frustrated through engineered loses and wins. The algorithm controls EVERYTHING in the game not you. It controls who youre matched up against, which direction the ball goes, what level of teammates you get AND which type of play style they use in order to set you up for success or failure. They control your jumpshot timing, green window size, recovery speed, contest strength, EVERYTHING. Your attributes and badges are just a distraction to give you the illusion of control so you keep blaming yourself instead of the game. This is exactly why you get PUNISHED for doing the only thing that is within your control (Quitting). They want you to experience all the frustration and pain they set you up for so that you keep spending money on builds and boosts over and over. Mike Wang and Ronnie are nothing but fall men they have 0 power or say so. They even hinder your freedom of speech if you are one of their paid celebrity or influencer pawns that’s why they call them (influencers) and recently rebranded it as (game-makers) to make it easier to blame anyone but them including yourself. For another year in a row you can enjoy buying the game 23 times in an attempt to rebuild your ego from the lashing they intentionally give it everyday for playing this garbage. You aren’t playing the game the game is playing your ego. 99% of the time you aren’t even having fun, you’re just seeking that next dopamine release from a scripted win against opponents who had no chance of beating you. IT IS A SCAM.

29:40 .. you said it best… I gravitated towards 2K heavy because it ALWAYS felt like if you lost, you genuinely lost to someone who was better than you at the game, wether they were cheesing or not… this year i can’t even tell who’s ass and who isn’t … and it just makes the experience infuriating..

There are a lot of unnecessary animations that destroys your flow and allows the defense to catch up on fast breaks. It’s mind blowing. I hate it! Plus you could be wide open for a dunk and you’re thinking you’re about to dunk and your man would pull up for a jumper.
