At my previous job, i managed a team of field technicians; i was always encouraging "regular cleaning" and organization of their work vehicles. Most of them were good. I would pay them for snow days (as long as they spent time organizing their van), and wouldnt dock their sick days if they promised to organize their van (i never had to check up on it because we had mutual trust, and the team appreciated my management style.)
