Petzl RAD Line is a hyperstatic 6mm cord that works great for lightweight haul systems and crevasse rescue. It's sheath is specifically designed to work well with both the Microtraxion and Tibloc, so when does it shred it?

Our results were Tibloc: 4.73kN and Micro Traxion: 5.14kN

From our last desheathing short, we tested 7mm and 8mm accessory cord and got
Tibloc vs 7mm: 5.56kN
Tibloc vs 8mm: 6.03kN
Micro Traxion vs 7mm: 4.17kN
Micro Traxion vs 8mm: 4.66kN

So Rad Line performs roughly the same with teeth as 7mm PES cord but is only 6MM

we used to go super light weight canyoning on 8mm static BUT, everything was super well protected, zero chance of abrasion.

Is using the Micro or a Tibloc with Rad line as a positioning device severely discouraged if you’re using an asap &/or another backup safety??

If they use this to rescue and rappel for a rescue why couldnt an ultralight backpacker use it just to rappel short drops for exploring similar to canyoneering? appreciate any thots
