San Martin is so underated. Their specs are insane and am surprised they aren't more popular.

And now they have an applied indexes version 😍

After looking at a bunch of reviews, I think I like this more than the new version with applied indices.

I have the printed dial in 36mm. I am blown away with the quality at the price point. The case and edges of the bracelet are a bit on the sharp side but that’s a minor flaw. Otherwise the watch is fantastic and I would strongly recommend this watch in the 36mm option

I bought this watch for myself, 36mm size, wrist circumference 16.7cm, very beautiful and neat watch! 😍
38mm is also a great case size

Really would have been nice if you displayed *your* Tudor on screen with the San Martin. A shame, it could have been very *revealing* and informative seeing them and pointing out the differences and similarities while side by side.

I have this, among other SanMartin watches, and I love it. I prefer it to the applied indecies version. I wear this and my water ghost v3 with a PT5000 most days I'd love a high beat movment version but sadly this version is not available with it. I'm thinking of getting an on the fly for it.
Thanks for your balanced review.

I've got this one in 36, my most worn watch of last year.

Considered the Ranger 79950 but agrees that it wears bigger than it's size. Main point for me however, was the faux patina. I already have the BB58 so I was looking for a more modern GADA look. So I got the SN0107 (printed markers/logo), it looks great and I love the BWG9 lume. If Tudor decides to modenize the Ranger and loose the faux patina, then I will definitly reconsider.

I own it in the tan indices and no logo. It’s the best value on the market and very accurate.

I don't believe San Martin are "junk" How do I know? I have two: both jewelers say they are every bit as good as Rolex: one said "Rolex is not for poor people." Second, my buddy has a Rolex. In his words " this is a good watch;" oyster braclet and all. He also stated "Rolex is overrated." The best watch, is, according to consensus Patek Philippe. There is nothing better in the world!! Also, from my personal experience Rolex for Investment, while Omega is a better watch according to my buddy with the Rolex who has a Seamaster as well. Finally, I come across many people: Last month, I asked a Swiss chap which is better Rolex or Omega? In his words "Omega" but it looses value. Rolex does not. Tissot, Tudor--the poor mans Rolex: So, what does this all mean? If you are looking for investment, we all know what to buy. If we are looking for something superior you know what to get based on my writing. If you are looking for nothing better, Patek; plain and simple: If you are in the market for Tudor buy San Martin. As for San Martin---keep the hits coming, but try to separate the brand with something a little more original within the microbrand category! This last bit for is everyone here: Up until 2000, Rolex used 316 L stainless steel before switching to 904 L steel. 316 L is the same steel San Martin uses--the industry standard. The difference is saltwater corrosion resistance and more scratch proof.

The problem of ranger dial is the box surface, it make the number look so wried

you have convinced me to go ahead and purchase this watch. you offer valid points from a watch enthusiast perspective. I was actually torn between this and the lorier falcon v3. main reason I'm hesitant to go with lorier is the hesalite crystal which is very prone to scratches. I speak from experience Because I own the neptune v2.

Was given this watch, great watch, love it...buy yeah the band is too short... tried to buy an extra link. no luck, they do not sell them, they start to ask for your customer number blah blah..etc...so no help... How hard can it be???? Now I got to go find a NATO of the right length etc etc... Last time I bought a NATO, i had to cut the stitching, and restitch it to make it fit, China only sells them to the Hobbits I guess?
