My journey is like.. I don't even know how to explain it, I'll do my best. So, I liked girls throughout elementary (still do) but at the time, i didn't even knew what straight was. I didn't know that we needed labels and I thought that liking girls was in the norm (and it should), my comphet started at like 6th grade because i was hanging out with the wrong friend and became very homophobic and transphobic. Which all of that last(plus the comphet) for 2 more years. Then in 8th grade, my parents, plus my "friend" forced me to come out, and I told them I was a lesbian, which somehow made my comphet worse, and my "friend" told me to label myself as bisexual, so i was sorta bisexual(not really, but I'll count it because i told others that) and dated a boy and broke up like 2 weeks when he tried to kiss me. He made me realized i was a lesbian(i feel sorry the guy tho) and im now in 9th grade, I joined GSA, and im avoiding that "friend" and my comphet demon is slowly leaving my body, but rn im questioning if im Ace. Growing up is fun😂

I’ve known about LGBTQ+ my whole life. I live in a very gay area with pride flags everywhere and stuff, and my uncle has a boyfriend. I was like, “oh cool, they can do that.” I just didn’t realize that I could do that too, so in fifth grade I realized I was bi and ace, and in sixth I realized I was trans. Of course I switched between a few things, but now I’m here and happy with the labels :>
