I followed this exactly and the IF statement/formula does not work or populate. Even when I do the drop-down form field from Legacy Forms, it doesn't even have the "Select" option in the drop-down. And when I select an option I created & then tab, nothing shows up in the Ctrl + F9 field area. Is Ctrl + F9 not working properly (even though it does initiate the squiggly brackets) or is there some other reason mine isn't populating or working? And why don't I see "Select" in the drop-down?

The drop down form field you are using only allows 25 fields - unfortunately I have 30 items - is there a way to add a bookmark to the "Drop Down List Content Control" ? Thank you

Awesome video. I do Building INspections and my problem is that I am unable to use the values from the same drop-down multiple times within the same cell of the table in MS Word. Can you kindly suggest any solution to this. If you have any video on this, kindly refer me to that please. I give you an example of my problem. I go to inspect a house and I find a defeat. So to define that defect in few different ways, I have values in my drop down. With normal drop down list, you can only use one value at a time from the same drop down menu. However, If I am able to use that same drop down menu to populate the same cell, with multiple value from the drop down menu, that will will make my life easy and less prone to other legal issues I may face.

I am trying to edit an existing document that I have that already has a table in place. I want to edit this document so that whatever entry I select on the table it will also populate said word in a title text box a few entries below. I have tried following the steps in this video but it doesn't seem to work, maybe I am doing something wrong? would appreciate your assistance or if you could comment the formula in the description or in a comment so I can copy and paste to make sure I am not typing it in wrong.

Thank you !

Thanks, this video was very helpful.

I have a question: I’m a contractor, and I’m building a subcontractor agreement form. Is there a way to have a clickable hyperlink to Google Maps? Here’s the catch: when you start typing the address in the address text box, is there a way to link an API to Google Maps that auto-populates the address as you’re typing? I have a Google Dev account, but I’m not sure how to embed the address to be an active search box that links the address text bar and reads as the actual address, not just a hyperlink to Google Maps. Sorry if that is confusing, I’m confused 😂

Thanks for this video! I need to code a listbox that is dependent on items in a text box in an Adobe Acrobat PDF Form. Each item in my text box, separated by commas, has an associated form that I need to add to the listbox. E.g. Text box = Lifting Operations, Plugs, Hot Work then List Box = Critical Lift Form, Expandable Plug Form, Hot Work Permit. The user will choose the forms necessary for the job from the list box through an "ADD" button, which I've already created. Can you show us how please?

My Ctrl F9 does not work. It opens a Lenovo webpage. Is there another way?

There are some essential elements included that are not included here. Like how to name and use the bookmark he calls "Field1" when he doesn't tell you where to use it later. You also have to use CTRL+9 for every instance of brackets in your code. You CAN NOT simply type the brackets. It doesn't do anything. Way too simple. If you got this to work for you, great. It just made me mad for an hour.
