At Shot Show 2016 I had chance to talk with Tim from Maxpedition and hear about their new AGR, Advanced Gear Research. These guys are really thinking about all the details of packs and how to make them in the most excellent way. Sling bags, messenger bags, day packs, travel duffles, admin pouches, and more will be available soon, and Everyday Tactical Vids will have a chance to be the FIRST to review a few of these items when they are on the market.

If I didn't have a ton of packs already I'd be all over that Wolfspur bag. I like that CAP as well.

It looks like they have made some serious improvements to my beloved Sitka bag. That Wolfspur looks outstanding as well.

I would love the Wolfspur if it wasn't so "bubbly" looking, that top pouch gives it an undeniably tactical look, making you very conspicuous. I Love the hex fabric, and new mesh, and the collapsible water bottle holder. would love to seek a new look bab style or streamlined version that draws less attention as a tactical bag but still looks cool.

I guess Direct Action made them step it up a few notches with the laser cut molle and expandable canteen holder.

Nice looking gear. Tim, did they give you any idea on retail prices for these bags?

Called Maxpedition - why no left-handed Wolfspur? I was ready to buy! How do you develop products that clearly exclude left-handed customers/ I sure hope someone at your company reads this and responds.

would have been nice if you had put them on and display a gun draw.

Meh, not all that innovative. I have Maxpedition bags similar to the first two and very little has changed. The third bag is cool because there's a carry handle in addition to the shoulder strap Plus the main compartment is looks to be a little more rigid than the model I have. Once you start filling these bags with gear to get very bulky very quickly.

they never make slingpacks for lefties like me.

Why don't they just make this bag with two shoulder straps? With two, you have more support and you can always take a bag with two straps and just sling it over one shoulder so you have the best of both worlds. With this, you're limited and this would get super uncomfortable with only one shoulder and your back oddly absorbing all the weight all the time. A pass for me. And the model that has two straps doesn't have some of the tablet and laptop storage pockets that this version does. So frustrating when companies do this.
