Russia-Ukraine crisis: Biden lists out US sanctions on Moscow; targets financial system

President Joe Biden, vowing to turn President Vladimir Putin of Russia into a “pariah,” announced tough new sanctions. The sanctions aim to cut off Russia’s largest banks and some oligarchs from much of the global financial system and prevent the country from importing US technology critical to its defence, aerospace and maritime industries.
