Misery. One of the best books I've ever read. 11/22/63. Flipping fantastic. Read the Shining. Scarier than the movie. Reading Dr. Sleep now. So far so good. King has a way of pulling me in and I forget my own reality. He's one of the few authors who can do that to me. It's like a readgasm.

Rewriting is the best advice, editing is often painful but only through that process will you get to the heart of what your story is about!

This is the only dude whose catalog you can read from beginning to end (60+) books and they all have their own tone and voice. Nothing to relate them aside occasional names that are repeated. Every other author has one pattern and are recognizable once you read one of their books. This man would fool me every time if someone didnt show me the cover and gave me one of his books. Not my favorite, but one of the best fiction writers.
