Honestly, even him saying that there's alien-related things he can't talk about on-air is massive. Like, it pretty much confirms that the higher-ups in the U.S. government know _something_ we don't about potential extraterrestrial life. Now it could be something very small, but we know that it's something. That's huge.

Jimmy Carter was asked the same question and said his security clearance wasn’t high enough to have the knowledge despite publicly admitting his own UFO sighting. Presidents are considered temporary employees, the intelligence agencies go on forever. Most presidents are not given access, people get access on a ‘need to know’ basis. The UFO subject is the most highly classified subject within government. Full admission of alien life would literally change EVERYTHING about the status quo of society; organised religion, the pharmaceutical, oil and energy industries would collapse because the technology these craft use are far beyond our ridiculous fossil fuels, these trillion dollar industries have everything to lose and they’re not going to just go quietly. The governments know this well and they know admission of higher advanced beings would completely undermine their authority and power. It’s no wonder they suppress the knowledge.
