This was the first movie I watched in a cinema. Good memories.

What a fever dream. The ships seem further away with 3 minutes to arrival than 12, some hand-launched rockets can apparently catch up within a minute, and Kruger fires 4 rockets but later there are only 3 (two hit and 1 misses).

I'm most impressed by the fact that the missiles could get through the atmosphere that fast without burning up.

Shall I continue? The three ships are constantly under thrust, but there are beer bottles floating around as if they're in zero/micro gravity, the fact that they were burning directly towards Elysium the whole time and ignoring orbital mechanics.

Don't get me wrong, fun movie, but they clearly weren't going for any kind of accuracy.

You people are worried about the rockets traveling too fast and far but what about the space ships themselves? It is obvious they have some kind of advanced propulsion and fuel technology that allows for this to happen.
