Dear Evan Hansen opening in the West End: Billy Porter and more join Sam Tutty

WhatsOnStage was on the red carpet and backstage for the opening night of Dear Evan Hansen in the West End. The six-time Tony Award-winning musical is running at the Noël Coward Theatre and booking into 2020.

Sam IS Evan Hansen - saw it on 7th December and it was amazing.

I got super lucky and got the chance to see this the second week it was showing and it blew me away. Always been my favourite musical and it didn’t disappoint, especially Sam. He’s perfect!

I love that they used open calls and also if you are 17 and not in drama school you also have a chance. Wooo!
