Man Died In Saudi Arabia | Mohammad Shehzad Khan, a 27-year-old from Telangana, died of dehydration and exhaustion in Saudi Arabia's Rub' al Khali desert. Working with a telecommunications company, he and a Sudanese colleague were stranded between August 19-21 while repairing a tower. GPS failure, a dead mobile battery, and an empty fuel tank left them without help. Both succumbed to extreme conditions. Their bodies were found on August 22 near their vehicle.

Similar happened to me going from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City. instead of regular highway, GPS took me thru a deserted road in middle of Nevada where almost everything was gray and lucky for me I found gas before I almost ran out.

This unfortunate tragic incident never expected in this modern era. This is a lesson for young generation trying to work in an unorganized way. One can not go to remote areas alone without any backup and support. Survey work even in urban areas one must have assistant or support staff in case of any emergency or accident.
Young Man lost his life in a pathetic way and left the entire family in trauma with unrepairable loss.

But why didn’t they keep enough water with them? One should be well equipped when the situation of the surrounding is well known. But it was not meant to be 😢

Why would anyone risk it and go! The place is known to be dangerous. They invited trouble. No one else is responsible🙏🏻

Very sad.this gps sometimes takes you in secluded longer routes and was lost once in that secluded area.thankfully this happened in india so we just kept going in the secluded route(through some fields) until we found local people
