Police respond to California school shooting, suspected shooter dead

At least two students are wounded and the suspected gunman is dead after a shooting at Feather River School in Palermo, California. The school remains on lockdown and the gunman is not believed to be affiliated with the school.

The school is Feather River Seventh Day Adventist School, it is a private school, I live about thirty minutes away and attend a similar private school. We were placed on lockdown at around 2:00 today because of this incident.

It's sad that there are 2 children who have lost their lives today in an act of violence and instead of outcry and support the comments section is bent on California. All of those affected by today's shooting are in my thoughts and prayers. May those sweet babies rest in peace.
