Vegas Chinatown's Ultimate Sushi & Seafood Japanese Buffet Feast!

It's always a great time in Vegas! From meeting new friends, having some great food, and finding the great value in the Chinatown, Spring mountain area. To continue this trend, today I get to visit a high end sushi & seafood buffet in the Spring Mountain area off the Vegas Strip; near the Chinatown area.

This is Makino where I heard from the locals in Las Vegas that this is the place to go for great high quality sushi and seafood offerings. From snow crabs and soft shell crabs, to jumbo luscious scallops, this should be a quality Japanese buffet. It has a higher price tag at $45 and I've been told it's magnificent value because of the great ingredients and offerings. Great value or not, I intend to find out. Please join me!

We went on a weekday for lunch mid July. I’ve heard so many stories about people lining up before the restaurant opens, so this was always on my bucket list. It was 28.00 for everyone, no discount for seniors. I wasn’t impressed because the deep fried salmon and teriyaki beef were really salty. The sushi rolls looked like my kids made them and the buffet counters weren’t clean. I doubt if I’ll return. Thanks for sharing.

Those sushi rolls were very pretty. Love the "Big Mac" one. Most everything was well presented. Nice selection of desserts. I love sweet red beans in dessert. Local buffet used to carry the bun with paste but no more. I can get frozen at the local Asian market. Your hostess/server was adorable. Hope you are being well, and God bless from sunny Oregon!

Excellent beautiful looking numerous choices of Sushi and Sashimi! Have never seen such a display of so many choices. All the Hot Food looks great also! The Ramen looked very good!
