Thanks for the video: it really helped! My son bought a 2001 Sentra a few months ago. I decided to change the cabin filter and this video was very helpful. The only difference between the 2001 and the 2006 featured in the video had to do with the first step: removing the glove box. In the 2001 model, there are two pins on each side at the back of the compartment that need to be pulled back a little bit(with a flat head screwdriver) before it would pop out. Other than that, everything went exactly as the video showed: the whole process took less than 15 minutes. I discovered that there was no filter in there at all! Based on other comments I read, this happens often with Nissans. I'm happy that the car finally has a cabin air filter now!

Thanks just did my 05 filter. Easy. Good info about removing only 4 screws on the inner cover. I started taking all of them out and that wasn’t the way !! Thx as always

Process may be a little different as the filters are different but it should be the same basic idea. We do have the filters for the I30 available on our website. They can be shipped right to your door.

Before you pull out the glovebox, there are these two tabs in the back corners that you should twist and pull out. They are hinges of the glovebox and you risk breaking them if you don't pull them inwards.

Me again, found out there is a cover for a cabin filter on my car . Installed the filter easily . Just the philips screws slowing me down . Junk. Need robertson screws .
