I've been golfing for over 60 years. Your instructions are, by far, the very best I've ever encountered. You're the best instructor on YouTube. Please keep it up!!!

I have used this right hip move falling back now for two days and it has brought a feeling of flow, rhythm & power that has come an gone over the years. And it is working with woods, hybrids, driver, and irons.
Historically a fade to slicer now the slice is gone. 83 years old 5 handicap from middle tees. Absolutely best lesson for me ever. Thanks

It only takes 20 years to understand and to get what you are teaching about the effortless downswing. Once you hit a ball as you demonstrate and when it all falls into place it's mesmerizing and the light goes off, it's not about hitting at the ball more like collecting the ball. You are no doubt the best instructor on 'The You Tube '
Please keep making content like this. Cheers Jamie

I was a scratch golfer in my 20's. Had a thing called a family and just now getting back into golf in my 50's. Rusty as a nail but getting the feel back and it's ALL THANKS to this channel!!!!

Your instructions are so intuitive and make so much sense. Please keep providing great content.

love the comment about compartmentalizing. heard several scratch golfers tell me the same thing - the swing shouldn't be broken up into parts or 2 swings, it needs to be one fluid motion (swing)

Just tried it in my living room and finally I think i have understood HOW you start the down swing with the hips. Now it's time for practice, practice.... and practice.
Great video Alex! 👊

about the only vid ive watched (and like most ive watched 100s) that actually made me think about using my own natural movement correctly. I had the general idea of where the power should be applied but couldn't quite get it right.... this vid triggered something in my head that just works, cheers.

This is the part of the swing I struggle with the most. This is a great video to understand the feeling needed in the star of the downswing. Thank you for this video, this is a game changer for me 👏

Your approach to this made such sense. the "falling forward" sounded a little bit off at first however the more you explained it the more it made sense.

This is perfect timing! It is just what I started working on. I am thinking shift my hips to start the downswing but you’re saying just let it fall and turn witch sounds good to me. Will add that feeling next time I head to the park to practice. Thx

Love your videos because they’re geared more towards natural feels versus static positioning. My best golf happens when I feel the swing and just let it happen. Then…I’ll find a way to mess it up by trying to get into a certain position to correct something that cost me a shot or two during the round, instead of sticking with the feel that was working, accepting the mistake and moving on. The baseball throw eventually becomes natural if you play the game. You don’t go and change your throwing “motion” because of a bad throw, you move on. It only becomes an issue if you can’t move on and dwell on it, then change what was once natural. I’ve been working on my rhythm as of late, but will be placing more emphasis on motion to enhance the feel of naturally swinging the club with consistent results, and not abandoning my swing if/when something goes awry…cause it will. Take Care 🤙🏾

Excellent video Alex! I have gone to a light grip on the handle which relaxes the wrists and arms. Now, I am able to feel the club head a lot better as it is dropping into its impact position. Your videos have helped me tremendously in tailoring my swing! Thank You!!

I am really glad I came across your channel. I am getting a lot out of your method of explanation and instruction. So much so that I have deleted the other three golf instruction channels and now go to you exclusively. I was on info overload for sure. You keep things simple and I am getting results from your training methods. Thank you Alex!

Just got into this channel a few days ago and am totally addicted. This is now my 100 % "GO TO" instructional video channel. Concepts are simple and straightforward and consistent with his focus on having a natural flowing swing towards the target....not hitting at the ball with 5 or 6 segmented swing thoughts. Have been practicing only 2 techniques for the last 4 days. Currently playing off a 7 handicap and plan is to get it to 4 by this fall. Thanks so much for your dedication to simple instruction. I watch about 20 other instructional golf channels and don't need them anymore, keeping it simple and fun and natural and flowing and getting my instruction here now. Cheers from Canada

Excellent lesson....this could be the number one thing that so many beginners just don't get at first. That "falling back" feeling is what I've also heard people describe as "when you get to the top of your back swing, try to put your back knee where your front knee is". It's a great swing trigger thought.

Brilliant! And simple. My tendency has been my hands out racing my core. But the “feel of falling” has slowed everything down and my shots are now much tighter. I also noticed that where previously my strikes were slightly off center, towards the toe, now the strikes are more aligned to the sweet spot. Thanks!

I have just recently discovered this move and you just made it much clearer. I will play with it today for the first time. I’ll let you know how I do and I will subscribe. Thank you!
