I have done this in past routines trying to find the best swing for me … Now it’s finally explained in such a simple way and the cover under the arm is the ace under the sleeve … brilliant and thank you thank you thank you …

Alex, I've seen so many of your videos and this is light years better than any of them! Golf is so complex a game in our heads, we need to dumb it down. This does that by producing feels that quickly become "reals." Increasing the lag angle and then holding the chest to release through first is an outstanding drill. The golf club is an instrument and you make it as easy as swinging a light baton. Please send out more videos on swing feel. GREAT STUFF.

You coach in a way that works for me. You express the feel of the swing with minimal technical information to not over analyze the athletic movement. Your description is what I am working on and experiencing. Your delivery of instruction is exceptionally communicated. Ball flight is a draw for me. Working the ball both ways is a goal for next season.

Hi from the UK Alex. Great video, well explained. I'll be trying this out on the range on Monday morning.

You are terrific in your instruction, and fortunate to have found you I want to figure out how to do the sling. Thank you very much

As all of your videos are, superb tuition and a tip that carries over to the course itself.

Super lesson. Amateur golfer’s are always getting stuck because of poor body rotation preventing this slinging motion you show and resulting in loss of posture and failure to complete the swing. Staying connected throughout the swing without getting to tight and stiff is a game changer.

Great work Alex. Took it to the range and had a "Eureka" moment. Much better feel, timing and contact with a lot less effort. Thankyou.

That gap between wrist and forearm is a great tip. Makes so much sense and easy to understand. I am a golfer of very limited hip movement I struggle to clear . The pulling or pushing (depends how described) of the back swing forwards is very difficult for me. This though looks doable. Range today and give it a go.. Thumbed up.

This is great information. Simple drills that let you feel the proper motion are huge, that’s from a guy who has WAY too many swing thoughts standing over the ball. I’m going to make this part of my regular routine. Thank you!

Really, really insightful video mate. Perfect length vid & focus on just 3 key points (as a sidebar, I did a Training course years ago for my work on Adult Workplace Training and the course stated repeatedly that Adults can only really learn/retain knowledge when a Training session contains no more than 3 key concepts - I found thru years of experience that this is absolutely true 😉). Anyway, I can’t wait to practice these drills as I constantly struggle to clear the body (amongst a number of other issues!!). God job 👏

You described my plight of the last 15 years in the first 90 secs. After that....I was one hand hitting balls into the net...my front hip WAS turning out of the Way - it just did it - as it knew the whipping motion was coming on.... This worked.

This is very much in-line with the recommendations of Mike Malaska... so I know this works. It's 5 degrees and snowy where I am, but I am chomping at the bit to get out there in the spring and work on this very thing. I had made a few changes to my grip at the end of the season that correspond to this sort of thought process and feel, so I'm really excited to see the fruits bear out in the summer. Great video.
