Sold my McDonald stock at a reporting peak, as of October 18. Loved it, held it for 3 months and made a good 12% profit. Can't complain. Will look to buy-back at a lower price at 135dollars if it starts showing recovery signs.

The decline in revenue is from refranchising stores. Perfectly normal, as they transition from a company-owned store model to a franchise model, which yields higher profits. With MCD, until this asset-light model is 100% complete, you have to look at comp sales growth, not revenue growth.

I believe that it comes as no surprise that I‘m heavily invested in McDonalds stock. After my partial bailout of Microsoft stock, McDonalds now is the third largest position in my portfolio and I just recently added some more shares to it. Great dividend, great company and a very inspiring founder: Ray Croc. If you ever want to know about the spirit of the McDonalds company I suggest you to watch the movie „The Founder“ with Michael Keaton in the lead. Thank you Ale for another great video. By the way, I‘m thinking of starting a position of CAT every since the drop after the earnings report. Maybe I get some shares tomorrow.

haha I could hit myself in the head. I picked up Daimler shares a few weeks ago in the believe Tesla will do worse after all that twitter drama with Musk. With a P/E of 6 they just sounded to good to be true but then the profit warning came out this week. Well looks like I gotta go looong term with Mercedes.
