I agree with all of this. But I think the harsher truth is that many people don't ever meet anyone who is a good fit in even half of these things, let alone also including having that spark and attraction, compatibilities, shared goals in life.

No one person can fulfill all of those roles for you. It's better to have friends and family who can be there with their varied opinions and will allow for many different experiences. That can be much more fulfilling than any romantic relationship.
If someone wants a partner and kids, really think about why they want that and contemplate if it comes from a feeling of them lacking something within themselves. Not just the generic societal or loneliness reasons.

I would argue that “choosing” a romantic partner in the first place kind of undermines the whole purpose of love. Sure, you should be connected with people who share your values, but that same rule applies for friendships as well. In my experience—listening to both my parents and grandparents—their relationships blossomed out of what was initially a platonic friendship. They were never “pursuing” love to begin with. I think that’s truly beautiful, and goes to show that often the best things in life are not ones we plan or pursue; they happen on their own.

This is what i pray for my future ...i can relay and make me laugh and feel safe bcoz all my life, i didn't feel this treatment, love and understand .most esp i can takeaway those knowledge he would advice me, teach me, respect me bcoz im a clumsy person and shy ..i wnt someone who feel that im comfortable and understand me, emotion and feelings the way i would share my love on him.

So most people choose poorly because over 50% married people are divorced, about 30% more are just stuck in the marriage for the kids or too tired to try to look for better, and less than 10% are actually in love. So yeah... don't get married....
