Enhance Your Skylines With Radial Filters In Lightroom

Skylines often occupy a narrow, horizontal band across a photo and we typically want to add sharpness, clarity, or other treatments to just the skyline. Lightroom doesn’t have a “reflected” gradient tool to target adjustments to a narrow band. With creative use of the radial filter, we can make one! The trick? Zoom out and stretch your radial filter really, really long. I’ll show you how it works.

Great tip Scott. I particularly liked the keyboard shortcut which I knew in PS but not in LR. Thank you!

Stood tip Scott. How can LR users influence Adobe to include a reflected gradient in LR’s tools?
