I think one of my favorite Rich Cooper clips (I've been viewing since 2018) was when he said "You're NOT damage, you are NOT broken." Really resonated with me. I, like a lot of us have been through a lot. But this is a really good message of hope. You still have the ability to affect things in your own life, you are not beyond redemption. I was in a hospital, men and women had different wards, but the communal areas were all mixed. Usually I keep to myself and avoid company, so this was a unique situation for me. I'm 48, I'm not looking, I made a decision (about 20 years ago) not to sleep with anyone unless I was serious about them and I knew they were serious about me, and since that decision I've remained celibate. I was there a month. While there several guys came on to me, including one of the staff. When these guys realised I wasn't going to have sex with them, they turned nasty and began slagging me off. This one guy got genuinely angry with me, it was quite incredible. I'm not sure why he thought he had a right to be angry at me, just for not wanting to sleep with him. So glad nothing happened, all these guys did was confirm for me I'd made the right decision. Why did these guys think they had a right to sex with me? I wasn't flirting with them, I hadn't given them any indication that I wanted to.

it seems like a lot of the traits of the unplugged alpha have to do with being very social. I'm just not a very social person, so I don't think I'll ever attain this category. I just don't see myself hanging out with other high-level people much, I like to keep to myself most the time.
