Ari, I can give you the answer to your last question there, about why the Supreme Court is creating the delay that only helps one person. It's because it doesn't only help Trump. There are two others it helps: Clarence and Ginni Thomas. SCOTUS is choosing to protect its own rather than face its own corruption. Rachel has it right - this court under Roberts has become absolutely craven.

Tribalism is our country's most significant illness. The tripartite government relies on the Judiciary remaining ABSOLUTELY impartial. Sadly, today's SCOTUS decision has decimated the last vestiges of civic confidence that they were apolitical. As a moderate, I say this with great reluctance, but I now really fear the likelihood of severe civil violence; the countdown clock has reached the last seconds. So very, very sad. What a dreadful example we set for countries worldwide and future generations. Absolutely tragic. Sighhh.

We, the people, can not expect or even hope the SC to operate in any other way than in their own self interests. We must take matters in to our own hands and respond by voting and showing by an even larger margin than 2020 that Biden-Harris is our choice to lead. Once we win back the House, Senate and White House, we must demand our elected representatives create term limits and oversight for this corrupt court.

I am writing and calling my Reps, Scotus and President Biden. This is a blatant delay of Trump DC and Docs trials. If Scotus takes until end of June, then continue trials in July through November. No "traditional down time" for candidates running for office. Criminal court gets no down time. Period. It's up to us, people. Not just our vote. But also our words.
