It’s about time…good for SCOTUS! Discrimination is discrimination. Reward excellence, not skin color.

I am so glad that the Supreme Court voted that way. It’s a bad time.😊😊

It's funny how a bunch of the comments are in support of this ruling, but the people reporting it seem like they're not in favor of ruling. I wonder why

Are they really mad because students can not be admitted anymore based on their race but based on merits. THAT'S INSANE 🤮🤮

Finally, being judged by content of character, not color of skin!

It about time the "systemic racism" we hear about constantly, is finally being addressed!

The people want equality while the elite and media seem to not like the ruling.

"Michelle Obama, who said "my heart breaks" for young people who are "wondering what their future holds" after the decision."

What their future holds is the opportunity to work hard and earn a spot in college like everyone else.

Affirmative action was never meant to be permanent.

It is long overdue. Affirmative action has been racism for a very long time. Admission should be by merit and grades for everyone. Work hard and get good grades. That goes for everyone.

This actually very good news.
A great step into sending a message that you should get to where you are based on your character and NOT your skin color .

Finally, this level of discrimination has been torn down. Thank you Supreme Court for rendering a correct and redeeming ruling.

Yes, another blow to racism. Merit. Accountability. Let's make those words mean something again.

This is awesome! I’m an immigrant and it’s an insult to me to hire me because I’m a minority.

How will it affect the students? Simple....losers will actually have to "earn" their personal victories. 😂😂😂

The US Supreme Court is about the only institution still functioning somewhat decently.

Finally, finally, finally, racial consideration has been eradicated. Merit is all that matters. If a focus on merit reveals holes in the education system, especially for minorities, then address that problem directly instead of putting a bandaid over a gaping wound - especially when that bandaid is just racial discrimination in an attempt to counteract issues arising from socioeconomic inequality.

Oh no! Only people who should go to college will be allowed to go! What a nightmare! 😂😂😂
