Is Duolingo the best free app to learn English? - Oprea Timi

We all considered learning a new language at some point in our life. Some of us gave up on this idea and that`s because some courses are too expensive, we don`t have time to learn or it`s simply our brain saying we are too old to learn a new language.

There is a solution to this problem and it`s called Duolingo. Duolingo is a free app which can be installed on Iphone, Samsung or any other smart device. You can learn languages like English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Finish, Dutch, German, Arabic and even some languages from Game of thrones or lord of the rings.

It is goal oriented. You can have your own goals everyday. You can study 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 or 20. It`s up to you. In fact you can study the whole day if you want.

There are also leagues where you can compete against other people. If you are in top 10 in your league at the end of the week you will advance in the next league, but if you are lower than 30 then you will be demoted in the lower league.

Recently they added this new medals which are given for studying up to 2000 experience every month.

There are also stories about each topic that you study.

The new vocabulary has pictures and visuals and you can learn it easier this way.

For each lesson there are tips which you can use to learn new grammar.

You also have a dictionary where you can check all the words from that language.

There is a pro version for this app but it`s up to you if it`s suitable for you.

I find the spanish course the best one so far. It`s really nice and challenging.

If you study on duolingo daily you will have a streak soon and you can save your streak with some add ons if you forget to study one day.

It`s a really great way to learn a new language and if motivation is what you were missing until now, it`s perfect for you.
