For 54 years, my life has had its' ups and downs. Through trials and tribulations there has always been something/someone watching out for me.
During the time that I spent incarcerated, I truly hit the darkest time possible. Despite that, I never gave up. True, I did become a bitter and malevolent person, making it difficult for most people to approach me; those people that did befriend me during that darkest of times, thank you. I hope that there are angels watching over you.
To those of you that are reading this and experiencing your own tough times, know that you are not alone. Like the late Brandon Lee said as Eric Draven in the movie THE CROW:
"It can't rain all the time".
When life has hit you so many times that it feels like you can't manage it, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, put one foot in front of the other, and once you have reached the end of your road, look back and laugh at those people that said "you can't do it".
