Green Tres Leches Cake - Turkish Style Green Milk Cake

Turkish style amazing green Tres Leches Cake recipe 🎉 If you like milk cake you'll love this Turkish tres leches cake! This green tres leches cake recipe is without food colouring, matcha, or pistachio. It has its gorgeous green colour from spinach! But I guarantee you won't taste the spinach in it :) It's one of the famous Turkish milk cakes.
I previously shared Tres Leches cake without condensed milk recipe which was a Turkish version of Tres Leches.
This time I wanted to share with you this delicious green tres leches cake recipe, with a little healthy touch and green colour of spinach with a different custard topping option.

♨️ Green Milk Cake Ingredients

- For the Green Cake -
4 eggs
1 cup sugar (225g)
1½ cups plain all-purpose flour (225g)
100g baby spinach or regular spinach (only the leaves)
1/2 cup sunflower oil (or vegetable oil)
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract (or vanillin sugar)
1 lemon zest (optional)

- For the Custard -
1L Milk
3/4 cup sugar (200g)
1 egg
2 level tbsp all-purpose flour (27g)
3 level tbsp corn flour (AKA corn starch) (32g)
1 tsp vanilla extract (or vanillin sugar)
1 package “Whipped Cream Krem Santi Powder” (75g) - There are 2 packages in the box.
*If you can’t find Krem Santi powder you can use 200ml Thickened cream instead.

- To Wet the Cake -
500ml Milk
2.5 tbsp sugar

♨️ NOTES ♨️
- In this recipe, I used a 35x25 cm dish
- I use 250ml measuring cup in all of my recipes.
- If you use self-raising flour, you can skip adding baking powder.
