You know you're getting older when you watch reviews of vacuums! 🤣🤣🤣

I'm a housekeeper by trade and I purchased this recently for my clients home with pets. My client has a home with wooden floors, and 2 large expensive rugs. She has 3 cats and one very old dog. This was the ultimate test in whether this machine was awesome. I'm not kidding. I cleaned her floors in record time. It saved me so much time and it was able to pull up the cat hair, dog hair off the rugs. This machine is not a waste of money. It took me 45 minutes compared to the 4 hours it has taken me before. Big win. I used the Bissel detergent with a floral scent and I was 100 percent satisfied.

I know I wasn’t the only one waiting for him to vacuum up that fly at 3:15 😂

Small correction at 1:05 the area rug button dispenses twice the amount of solution as the hard floor button. The spin rate remains the same. It’s useful for rugs but also big messes on hard floor. This is listed in the crosswave booklet. Love your channel and love my crosswave!!

I would never use this for big spills but I would use this as my weekly super clean.

Really happy after first use.
Bought it 2 days ago. Yesterday we did floor cleaning of the whole house. Tiles, hardwood floor, rug and 1 carpet.
All was spotless clean after. Multi-surface pet floor cleaning formula included in package was used.
Best way to use it was going forward with spray button pushed down, and same line back without spraying. No residue left on floor. Checked few spots this morning.
Rug and carpet you go much slower and need more strokes to clean.
Downside is edges. It really does not go all the way to the wall. Leaves like 15 - 20 mm. So I used just regular brush to brush everything from edges into the middle of the room. :)
Don't really understand people complaining about cleaning it.
5 min. to wash everything under running water and put it to dry... It's too long and difficult...?
You don't need to clean any filters with brush or anything, like on dry vacuum cleaner.
And I really like it's no dry dust fly around when you open dirt bin.
Probably people forget something: you do 2 procedures in one go. Vacuum and moping your floor.
How long does it take to really clean dry vacuum cleaner? Take apart dust bin, dry clean filter with brush, dry clean dust from bin itself, than wash everything under running water and put everything to dry. That's like 15 min. minimum, probably more.
And what you do after you mop the floor? Spill dirty water down the drain, wash the bucket and wash your mopping pad, either by hand or in your washing machine (water + energy wasted). All this also take time.
Of course, some will say "you don't clean dry vacuum cleaner like this after every use". Actually you should... If not, it's really lots of bacteria lives in it till the next usage and fly from vacuum cleaner after you tun it on. And if you have pets, then that smell of used vacuum cleaner...
And in my opinion that's the beauty of Crosswave, because it will be clean before next usage every time.
Used to have Thomas wet vacuum cleaner some years ago. THAT WAS PAIN to prepare and clean after!!! Like 10 - 20 min before and 30 - 40 min after...
If you planing to buy it, Crosswave is breeze to clean, don't worry.

This is my new favorite... It's actually insanely simple to clean compared to any other vacuum I've attempted to use on my hard floor. The snap on rollers and casings are easily detangled if they require it, they rinse completely, it picks up kitty vomit with zero issues, it picks up dust without throwing it out the backside of the unit, it's not bulky, it's not leaving dirty water like a traditional mop, it's not constantly dying like the cordless (even though the cordless model is an option) and it doesn't get confused or need the constant attention of a robot mop.

I don't see myself using this to pick up actual chunks of food, so I don't think it will be a problem for me. I'm definitely going to be purchasing this. Glad I didn't jump the gun and get a tineco like I originally planned. The tineco has way too much maintenance, and you cant use it on rugs. I also prefer the corded because I hate when I'm being timed to clean rather than just freely cleaning at my own pace, also the corded vaccums always have better suction power.

I have the original Bissell Crosswave and I love it! In fact I used it lastnight, and with a large home with hardwood floors it's a must! I highly recommend it!

Thank for your review. I totally agree with you about cleaning part after use. But for stubborn dried dirt you pass over the dirt back and forth for 3-4 seconds very quickly it cleans much better and faster than mop. I used to put my foot on the mop to clean the dried dirt. Also I tested vacuumed then mopped then used crosswave. I was surprised how dirty the floor was even after mopping with clean water. CrossWave definitely cleans the floor much better than just vacuuming and mopping. I've been using a crosswave for almost 3 years every other day, and I'm very satisfied with the cleaning power. Only down side is that I have to clean the brush 4 times and empty the dirty water from container each time for 60M2 floor. Still it cleans far better than vacuuming and mopping.

We have two small dogs, I bought the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro after my daughter, who lives on a farm with 4 kids (ages 4-17), dogs, puppies, baby goats, piglets, and lambs, borrowed her friend’s for cleaning all the bare floors (wood, linoleum, and stick down tile) and saw how easy it was to use and how clean the floors got. My roommate stripped our linoleum kitchen floor of decades of old wax using a commercial stripper with a mop & bucket. He thought the floor was clean. I swept the floor using the Crosswave then went over it spraying the solution, then sucked up all the solution. I had to empty the dirty water reservoir twice and it was full of dirt and dog hair both times. The Bissell Crosswave Is a game changer, and is worth the price. Buy it during Christmas in July, or Black Friday for lower pricing. I paid less than $200 for mine in December 2023.

Love my new pet pro crosswave, yes a little cleaning up after your done but so much better than a mop, not using the same dirty water with a mop. Mine did not come with two heads like they claim.

Any machine that scrubs and sucks up the dirty water is worth it. My 2nd hoover floormate just died after I used it to clean up 2 containers of spilled baby powder. Both of those machines served us very well for years. Now I'm trying the bissell crosswave. We foster toddlers so there is no end to dirty floors!

My father got this for me to use on the kitchen floor and it's freaking AMAZING! It got my floor SOOO white and beautiful!!! It's the cleanest it's ever been and I'll continue to use it for my dog messes in the future! And I love the fact that you clean it afterwards so it doesn't get clogged!

Researched the crosswise for ages (to replace my second Karcher Fc5). Its excellent, much easier to use, gets grout between tiles & you don't have to vacuum first! (though the Karcher got to the edge of skirting boards). 2 Boston Terriers inside and 4 Border Collies outside (occasionally visiting inside): Pet hair is no issue (short or long). The bissell left behind no pet hair on my lounge room rug, did a far superior job than my Dyson DC54 turbine head which leaves a lot of short hair behind.

I’d wipe nasty or larger chunks with a paper towel or rag before sticking the bissel over that stuff. That why you don’t need to wash so much debri off your unit.

I'm surprised at this review. I have a crosswave and LOVE IT. I have 2 young kids and it is a huge help. Yes its annoying to clean the machine each time but its not hard and doesn't take that long.
