I bought a 2015 CR-V Touring and what sealed the deal was the off road demo by Dave!

I started watching your reviews because of the off road testing, please keep it up Dave

I have a 2012 crv ex awd. These videos sealed the deal when i was about to purchase it pre-owned certified. Glad to see what the car is capable of. Gives me more confidence of what it can do. Thanks Dave!

NIce to see the CR-V being tested in more challenging conditions... most reviews just cover the usual which gets a bit boring... so glad that I have chosen the CR-V as my next vehicle :D

this is what I love about your reviews, you always have a very good and practical snow review. It really gives people an idea of how this vehicle will work in unfavorable conditions.

That rear drivers side tire looks a bit under inflated. I love your reviews Dave. No stiff lipped bullcrap. Just honest fun reviews.

I bought a 2016 CR-V Touring Edition in June 2021. I could have gotten the same thing as an Acura for $1500 more with the V6 and a normal automatic. But I could not justify the extra fuel consumption even though I could afford it. On January 1, 2022 I finally has c case where the rear wheels gave me some thrust for about 2 seconds. Starting off uphill in a snow filled parking lane. It was kind of neat.

But I bought it for the power tailgate and the adaptive cruise control. I needed the tailgate for my wheelchair hoist. I can walk but each step I take is painful. So I have a folding electric wheelchair. I cannot lift the 50 pounds so I have a little mini hoist for that that fits just nicely in the back without drilling any holes in the vehicle.

Thanks for the video as it shows me what to expect next year as I will be moving out to the country in a place with a driveway a block long.

I think for realism - what would be neat is a simulation of going into a ditch - and then the vehicle pulls itself out? Like being stationary in 6 inches of snow and stopped - and then the vehicle getting going - climbing a small incline (like out of a ditch) etc.

Great vid! I really like what Honda is doing these days with all of their vehicles.

Hey Dave, a viewer from Canada here. Your review of the 15 honda crv definitely played a part in me buying the 16 crv. It's really great in snowy ontario conditions .I wish you would have put the 16 through the same test that you had with the 15 crv. Like your work. Thanks

I just bought my 2016 CRV a few months ago and because of this video I can't wait for the Winter and take it out in the worst of weathers. It'll be my first AWD vehicle too.

Definitely do a video of it in mud. That'd be good too.

Dave I own a 2010 crv and it is a great vehicle. I tow about 1500 pounds with it and it shifts great and has plenty of power. I agree with you on the cvt transmission. I really don't care for them at all. I have test driven them and I don't like the way they shift or the lack of power I get out of them. I test drove the 2015 crv and hrv and I really didn't care for the cvt in any of them. I know that Toyota doesn't use a cvt in the rav4 and I own one of them and it also is a great vehicle. Thanks for the off road reviews and keep em coming.

I have a 2015 CRV EX AWD and it seems to perform better in snow (deep snow) and hills in "sport" mode with traction control off.

Thank you for doing these videos. The park you get to do this in is very unique, we have nothing like this here in New England. While I'll never see myself going off roading, it's great to see what the vehicles can do for the days we get 18" of hard pack from a snow plow at the end of the driveway

You should review the 2017 crv in snow

I know this is an older video but do you recall what drive mode you were in when you started? "D, S or L"?
