As someone who is pretty new to the game, sun position is extremely important to me. When there's no blatant metas like Ghana or Mongolia, or it's obviously not Europe, the very first thing I'm checking is:

-Road lines
-Driving Side
-Hemisphere
-Vegetation


That will narrow down a lot of countries very quickly. Then comes things like car meta, license plates, and road signs/bollards

Not common, but in older French coverage (and rarely newer coverage too) you will sometimes see yellow plates too, since they used them until 09. If you see an old or run down car that looks like it's been parked for years and it has a yellow plate, don't be fooled. It's gotten me before.

Very useful tips, and you’re very good at explaining all the details 👍 But I hope you don’t mind, as someone from the region I haven’t to correct you on 8:40 that while Cambodia *is* a Southeast Asian country (along with the likes of Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, etc); India is a South Asian country (just like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, etc).
