For the future. I think that maybe you might want to take the lid off the bucket before picking up the rattlesnake. I understand if there's another rattlesnake in there you might not want to take the lid off. But both your hands are full and you're trying to use your feet to take the lid off the bucket. It would have been affected you to have the lid off a bucket from the get-go.

huh...never thought of it, but if a snake bites itself like that, does the venom work on them? i'd imagine not, but also like, venom is stored in special glands so maybe?
