Good day, Mrs. Angler, I just wanted to ask if you could review your flashcards on Gizmo, I have noticed some errors in the information in the flashcards while studying recently. One in particular that I can remember is in the Homeostasis section of paper 1s flashcards. The question is what vessels will relax on a hot day? and the answer the is expected on the flashcard is that the shunt vessels will relax. This is incorrect, as the shunt vessels will contract on a hot day to divert less blood to the subcutaneous layers and more the the surface capillaries to dissipate more heat. What is odd about this though is that when just viewing the flashcards they are correct but when doing them, they change. If there is any way you could look into this, that would be greatly appreciated. As it is very likely to confuse students who aren't familiar with the way all of that works. kind regards Kevin Human
