This was a great video, except when you got to the actual technique you used to create the shadowing effect, you said it would be boring to see how to do it. Boring or not, your technique makes the font look realistic. I would have preferred to be shown a tedious technique to get an amazing effect, instead of just a file to make the shadow technique for me.
What I don't know is: what angles did you use? What Gaussian settings did you use? How many layers does it take to make the effect?
You handed me a fish instead of teaching me to fish. I'm not ungrateful for the fish, but the knowledge of how to catch it myself was what I was seeking.
