Just a question regarding solar, i noticed you have a fuse close to the battery positive terminal for the MPPT, do you need a fuse close to the MPPT as that will be bringing in charge to protect the wire?

Or on the other side of the MPPT do you need a fuse close to the solar panels bringing charge to the MPPT?

Awesome fit out loved the explanations and how it all went together. I am absolutely clueless with these kinds of things lol however I am converting a Tradies Trailer into a Camper and want a good quality 12v system to run everything from the fridge to the sink etc which is all still to get installed lol. Again awesome video

Very neat work. Austrack should employ you to do the wiring in all their campers. Any real reason for not going for a single larger battery like say 200ah?

Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing. I was concerned that your battery hold down rods are a bit short and not through your locking nuts for proper retention!

Also, if you haven't already, can you advise where some of your accessories were sourced from? I am also looking for busbar's and fuse blocks to rewire my recently acquired trailer.

Well done, awesome video, but did not help me however. Could you do a quick video of installing a dcdc charger to a Savannah x 2020 with some nice close ups. Can be a generic dcdc charger or even a hypothetical charger, I just want to see the leads which I can hook my dcdc charger up to, from the line that runs from the battery to the front hitch Anderson connector??

Two years on and how is your system travelling? Have you added more storage and solar, because 300w is kind of on the low side if running a fridge and an electric blanket overnight on one battery.

Such a great job what size cable used and where do you get the midi fuse brackets from and for that matter where do go get all of your electrical bits and prices from ? Thanks again

Hi mate, nice work. Have just come across your channel. I just recently purchased the Kings 240V charger myself because I just upgraded to lithium also. You might be able to answer this, my old 7 stage charger would charge the battery, go through all of the stages and once fully charged it would continue to trickle charge and maintain the charge in the battery so it would remain full. It seems the kickass charger charges the battery to full and then stops? I was just recently away and using the charger in a caravan park and left the charger on the whole time as we were using 12V accessories also and the battery would show full once charged and then it would run down again without being further charged. I'm confused by it. Cheers mate

You do realise that 300w at 10v is only 30a. At 14.4v it's only 21a

Lithium and AGM both have the same usable capacity. The 50% rule for AGM is just a guide for OffGrid systems. You will not hurt AGM with discharging below 50%
