Man, teaching is a lost art :/ You guys are exceptionally talented in simplifying perplex information and teaching it in a way that is understandable to all. No matter how long these videos are, I know I'm not wasting time because I will fully understand everything by the end. Kudos to you guys for being a resource for higher learning students across the world struggling. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed!

I don't usually comment, but this is exception. I have my biochemistry exam next week and must learn 400+ pages. This videos are lifesavers! I'm a visually learning type of person and your style of teaching brings all this to a whole new level for me. Thank you and God bless you. Greeting from Croatia.

I'm an older guy who is not at all scientific, but stumbled across your channel some months ago and have found your lectures fascinating. I just pick one and watch it to death...probably 20 or so times and then move onto another one. After a while I start to understand where each one is going and I then can start to appreciate just how amazing these functions and mechanisms really are. I wouldn't have thought it possible that anyone could retain this amount of information and disseminate it in such a fluent and digestible way...what a talent you have! I Stopped buying a TV license several years ago as I find video series like this so much more stimulating than a lot of the BBC output. I don't know why Google doesn't launch distance learning qualifications with such a wealth of incredible material. They could rival the likes of the Open University and it would be great if they could undercut the Universities making further education a bit more affordable for people in their 50's like me who are still curious and want to remain stimulated and challenged. Thanks so much, I really enjoy your work!!

This is literally the best explanation I have ever seen for carbohydrate metabolism. You have just made Graduate level Medical Biochem easy.

I'm a first-year dental student and I wish you were my biochem professor. All year long I couldn't focus on this dry subject but your videos helped a lot. The way you explain the pathways in order is so helpful for visual learners. Please keep making more videos.

ANOTHER person who learned more in a 30 min video than weeks of reading the freaking book. Also, every time he says "ninja nerds, " it sounds like he's saying "engineers." Anyone?

I am just watching this out of interest in the topic and I am so glad that I don't actually have to remember any of this.
Good luck to everyone who has to know this or write an exam on it soon!

'woo this marker stinks' 😁 I love all these little ninja nerdisms in your videos, brings some human into teaching such complex topics. Your lectures have saved my brain, I have ADHD and reading six pages of text with no visuals to try and explain this process was NOT working at all for me.
If you teach in a school/university they are very lucky to have you

I love how you made the bifunctional enzyme friendly with happy faces. They don't look as daunting anymore. Nice touch!

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your videos. Yesterday I felt a little bit down after underperforming on an Enzymology exam and I was demotivated to study the overwhelming amount of information for Metabolism. I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel, until I remembered your channel. I started watching all your video's and everything suddenly clicked and became clear, because I'm a visual learner. I went from being totally unmotivated to enjoying studying Metabolism. And I know I'm not the only one, you keep on helping tons of students around the world, thanks for that!

I just want to say thank you for all the help. I’m currently in grad school and Biochemistry is kicking my butt, but thanks to your videos I am finally understanding it. It says a lot when you are a better teacher than a graduate professor. Anyways, thank you 💛
