First off let me say that I love Lauren Daigle's gift. She is touching so many people lives with her God given talent. I am no exception to that comment. God is working in my life and my husbands in ways that we can't wrap our heads around. We as Christians trust in our Savior. We know he has plans for us. We know he is in control. Sometimes that fear you have inside that you might not be good enough or that you need to be rescued she acknowledges the fears many of us don't talk about. God is using her to calm the storm within our souls and reassure each of us, it is okay to not be okay. You aren't perfect but you if you are child of God you are forgiven. This song has profound substance to my life at this moment. I am having to trust God and hold on to him with everything that is within me. I am looking forward to what he has in store for my life tomorrow, next week and next month. I do so without my child. This is the hardest thing I have ever and will ever endure in my life. It is God I hold onto, trust and look for guidance during this time. I know he has a plan for me and my husband in the absence of our only child. We praise him for trusting us with this precious soul to love and be loved by. Thank you Lauren for creating music that helps remind us all that although we are barely breathing if we just hold on he will see us through.

I’m beyond thankful for His grace and mercy and that he cast my sin as far as the east is from the west. He loves us when we don’t even love ourselves. this song reminds me that Jesus holds on to us, when we feel weak and broken. But at the same time it reminds me of unconditonal love on the earth. When you have a friend who will hold on to you, when its hard.
Its the most beautiful depiction of love. Its a love that says i love you just as you are, and i will fight for you, i care about you like my own life.

Lauren I can’t explain how much I really needed this. I’ve been going through a lot in my household, my heart, and mind and also grieving the lost of a close friend. This really hit home and comforting my heart so much. Literally about a week ago I wrote in my journal how I really need God to hold me again bc I’m tired of feeling like this and so anguished and stuck and just hurt beyond compare & then you released this song the same night we honored my friend at her funeral ... it couldn’t be more of a perfect timing and coincidence.
