UPDATED Best Void Shard Farm Locations in The First Descendant

The First Descendant is a free third-person cooperative action RPG shooter featuring high-quality graphics. They truly woke up and chose violence against non-attribute characters. It used to be equalized for each element, now they buffed all but left non-atts as they were. I hope it's a bug or an oversight. Should be 6/6/6/5 and it'd be the same 23 as most other got with the patch.

Dang I'm late, just an fyi, the best way to farm is all outpost, (tele between 2 or 3 u need on any map), then farm shards, them open, rinse and repeat. Much less downtime, less equipment swapping, way more variance for those who lose their minds doing the same loop on the same map.

As much as I'm enjoying and glad about the changes they made to material drops kind of a slap in the face to the player base that the non attribute farms didn't get a bump at all in the rewards, I get it's supposed to be a grind but the whole point is to be as efficient as possible when farming not running around from place to place and constantly have to change characters to farm, the whole point is to find the ONE place that gives you the fastest farm and grind that until your fingertips disappear or you get bored, this basically makes farming for all of them at once completely obsolete and it should always be a choice even if it is a little less efficient I'd rather get 6 or 8 of all than have to bounce around to get 20 here and 20 there

i farmed 5 to 25% chance pattern in infiltration outpost.
i got 32 pattern(2x16), wich is basically 32 x 4 time the same outpost with 5 min CD. 128 x 5 min wich is 10 hours.( so 5H as 2 pattern i need drop there, was more likely 7hours)
i need 36 inorganic + 9 organic per opening wich is equal to 1152 inorganic and 288organic
toxic echoswamp give 20 and 3 qnd is horrible to farm.
in order to have 1152 inorganic, i need to farm 58 time the void thing, about 30 times the organic void thing.
then open them, to have 10% chance to get the thing i need.
....
or spend 20 $

Some of these aren't the best, for example Toxic - Inorganic at echo swamp. That might be the worst place to farm as the waves spawn 1 mob at a time through mostly 2 gates. Compared to others where the entire wave spawns instantly like in white gulch (mountain tops). Can do it much faster even tho it gives 3 less per run.

I wish they remove the element requirement for those void shard missions because certain rewards are locked behind them and you have to have a character with that element equipped in order to get the shards. Also the outpost cooldown needs to drop to 1min or atleast 2mins minimum. Also i wished they made it so you can repeat missions without having to be deported to albion and then us having to run back to activate it again.

It's still a bad feeling gameplay loop. No one cares what the drop tables are when what they are doing is fun. I have been bouncing world's watch people fail these over n over on top of just not feeling fun. Hope devs address these issues. More doesn't=better... Better=better. Needs more mission Qol FR

So with the new changes, if a friend has enough shards to activate a reactor, and I don't but i join in on the fight, will i still have opportunity to use material on it?

Why is non attribute so trash wish the quantity was better because I hate farming for shards and it would be easy work with gley

Echo Swamp Derelict Covert is absolutely not the best place to farm inorganic shards. It's terrible. Enemies spawn one at a time, and very slowly.
