I wonder if I should of left more head space in my jars. I tried them for the first time and almost half of them blew off their lids in the last 5 min of processing in a pressure canner.

Thanks for the tips. This is going to be my third year using them. I still don't trust them I get a 50/50 success rate on the damn things. Been canning for 15 years.

Nobody I know can use those lids. They are a real trick. i saw another video where she tightens them, them loosens them 1/4" back, and then tightens them immediately when she takes them out of the water when they are still hot. That works. Maybe I'll try it again. I have a lot of them, it's just so frustrating to have to process stuff twice.

If you are not getting a good seal you are not doing it right. Finger tight when they come out of pot retighten lid.

Ball are to many failures and now they only seal for 18 months but come unsealed. Tattlers are no fail and they now offer free shipping.
