2014 Ancient Thessalonica -- Footsteps of St Paul

This 1 block square excavation site is surrounded by the modern city of Thessalonica, which is second only to Athens in size and influence in Greece. Paul visited here on his 2nd missionary journey in 49 AD, just after his incarceration and beating in Phillipi for "disturbing the peace" by preaching the gospel.
