This technique will be perfect for some coasters I want to make, including the satin stitch edging. Is that an overcast foot?

All the years (and it's been decades, I won't say how many ;) ) and I never knew about the foot used for satin stitch. Thank you for this tip.

Great tutorial! I love this idea!
I watch a lot of quilting tutorials and think to myself "well, that was nice or pretty or easy" but YOUR tutorials always make me think "yes! I'm going to do that!" They're such useful and creative projects that are quick and doable! Thanks for posting these videos for all of us!

I am wondering what is the name of that foot he uses to do the satin stitch? Is it simply called a satin stitch foot? It looks different than the one I have for my Singer. Mine doesn't have the little stop.
Thank you! :)

Your statement that the postcard be no larger than 4 x 6 confused me since I've sent out larger cards myself so I did some research. Postcards must a minimum of 3.5" x 5" can't be larger than 4" x 6" to get postcard postage pricing. Larger cards will get subject to letter postage pricing.

Photographers Edge sells stick on postcard backs for photographs, they would probably work for these as well!!!

Rob, I saw the pressed foot you used, what is it called, where can I get it and will it work on Pfaff!

This is a great idea.  Could also be used, if you wanted to make a littlepicture to hang on the wall of a favorite fabric design.  Keep up the goodwork,

I just subscribed and I am so happy I did...I am grateful that you know to put all your videos in playlists..so few you tubers do that...and it makes it hard for viewers to find specifics and youtubers miss out on views they would have if they just made playlists :-)

I've learned so much from you already! Thanks so much for sharing!

Please tell me would you be willing to do garment construction videos? Can you do sellable fabric items? And, can you do things most professional sewists know but generally unknown to sewists. Ive only studied it for a few months...but I want to learn and learn fast...again, you have made that possible by using play-lists!

Blessings,
E.

Just wondering if you have made a postcard using a pieced quilt block such as an Ohio Star? If so, please do a video to show how to put this together on a postcard.

What a fun idea! I've got two 7-year-old grandsons and using superhero or star wars fabric will work well with this.
