You're going to find a lot of people that want to play Amsoil As Number 1

And they will do anything in their power to make it number one and they will test it at some ridiculously low negative temperatures an Amsoil might have chemicals in it to stop it from freezing that other ones don't because it's protected down to a lower temperature but even when we get two more reasonable negative temperatures that we normally see throughout the United States Valvoline still beats out Amsoil

Secondly if you look at the time between the drips when it comes from Amsoil versus Valvoline Advanced you can see that there is about 35 seconds between the time that Valvoline stops dripping versus when Amsoil starts dripping on both test runs which tells you with big flopped into the two containers back-to-back the testing is very accurate and very symmetrical because we got the same result both times with the same time in between

Gotta say it is very comforting knowing the two brands I have trusted over 45 years of owning vehicles and running them are top performers ( Penzoil and Valvoline) really want to see them against each other 👊 with the lab results included know I'm asking a lot but If you have the stats it's informative 👊 long winded and can't wait for you to give up the ghost on your decision on the next career move but I have a level of confidence your going in the direction I think you should take ❤️

Man, this cold flow testing is awesome, and I can't wait to watch the next one! Amazing results with Valvoline Advanced. I've always been a fan of Valvoline products!

My beloved Castrol really bombed on the cold flow test. It was still flowing as you conducted the second test. It reminded me of the old Heinz ketchup commercial. "Anticipation is making me wait".

My dad who just passed, I'm thinking of all the memories I've had with him, and didn't realize how much he influenced me. He was always a Valvoline guy, and always had luck with engines lasting a very long time. I started off using Valvoline in my 1992 Mitsubishi Mighty Max that he taught me to buy in cash, which I did exactly as he said on that, and still do with a little detour along the way with that, but soon went back to buying in cash, and always will. I started off with Valvoline, and in memory of my dad am gladly coming back to Valvoline, and thanks for helping me understand it is a great overall choice. By the way, that Mitsubishi Mighty Max I bought had 87, 587 miles when I bought it, and made it too 228, 000 miles, when my brother got ahold of it and hit a pole at an intersection destroying the truck way beyond repair. It was sad, and my brother didn't really care about what he did, because he was the spoiled last child of 4. This was the original engine and transmission. I really took care of the truck. I found out the reason my brother left it at the intersection was because his license was revoked because of DUI, and very likely was drunk when he wrecked the truck. A lot of hard work down the toilet of working a lot of hours at Hardee's to buy the truck and then to take care of it. My brother will total a vehicle, then my parents buy another one, and repeat over and over and over. I don't think he at 39 has ever paid a phone bill or car insurance payment with his own money. I started paying my car insurance as a teenager. It's funny how one brother can be totally opposite responsible than the other. Oh well! Sorry to be a downer but glad I wasn't spoiled, because life turned out good for me.

Now that’s how you generate views. Well done sir, well done. When researching how to remove oil varnish out of my Chevy 5.3 I came across your Dodge Ram videos and have followed you since. You sold me on Valvoline Advanced with your oil testing. This is just another reason to stick with it. The combination of the Valvoline and the MMO my oil drains look almost like new oil after several oil changes over the past year. Thank you for your message. In between the change of oil brands and the Range AFM delete module my engine has not run better.

I'm loving this testing! That valvoline advanced is ridiculous, especially when it's less than 1/2 amsoil price

Hello Fellow Carhaulics and Friends 😊: Rich, thank you for another oil cold flow testing video. Based on your chemical testing analysis & your cold flow testing I must side with Penzoil & Valvolline Advanced. I'm happy you chose to depart the dealership & whatever path you choose I wish you nothing but the best. Thank you again for another wonderful video sir. God Bless & keep the rehab going, TMP from N.J.

Outstanding video Rich, thank you! Much appreciated you acquiring Mobil 1 Truck/SUV for the testing, I have used it for years in my wife’s SUV as it gives her outstanding fuel mileage in a 3.6 V6 engine. The results didn’t surprise me at all, all of these are fine oils, my personal preference will always be Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, followed by Mobil 1 Truck/SUV, and lastly Quaker State Ultimate Durability. Since all four of my vehicles take 5W-30 it’s easy to compare, Amsoil is simply overpriced in my opinion, so it makes my choices all the more sound with the knowledge shared with your testing, and lab results!

Valvoline & pennzoil are the best 2 oils in the market over the counter in my opinion outside getting amzoil. You know I love running valvoline in my vehicles. The 01 ranger I had ran over 500k running only on valvoline. I got nothing against pennzoil from you showing me how much quality they are.

Before my diesel, I only used valvoline. It is good stuff. Never had any engine issues.

Spotted your Oil Reviews after I started looking for details on Valvoline Restore and Protect (had gotten "updates"on it some months ago... But only recently took it seriously as it was finally hitting the market.) And research/revise my OCI options.

Since I have a 2003 Saturn (Full Synthetic much of its life... Mobil 1/Quaker State/Pennzoil) and a "new" 2014 GMC that has been getting Dexos Grade Oils... I'm hesitant to "experiment" with a non-Dexos oil on the 2014...

Since the Saturn has been using Oil and its Control Rings are a known issue... R&P might be a good option there. But...

Had just recently gotten a recommendation for Advanced (along with your testing, etc.) from someone who has been using it for a long time and was very happy with it.

As it was on sale, I picked up a few Jugs today. Seems like it'll be good for both vehicles at a good price

I've been keeping up with your oil testing and it is so interesting to me all the different colors of the oil out of the container. You even got me to send in oil to Blackstone Labs. Best wishes on your future endeavors.
