The AMSoil evaporates very fest, so be careful not to run low on oil. Better oil is Pennzoil Ultra Platinum it’s bin proven . I tried it, I have noticed that the engine is more noisy with AMS oil just like Mobile-1. Switched to Pennzoil Ultra Platinum runs nice and quiet .

I buy the signature series oil and AMS filter for all my oil changes but I still change every 5000 miles . I do it my self same price as bring to dealer and having them put there cheap oil and filter on

I live in Florida and all I can say is that my Harley's would run extremely hot especially in traffic - close to overheating! After I started using Amsoil, the oil temperature dropped over 150 degrees while driving in similar instances of driving in long waits in. traffic congestion. I'm a fan!

Amsoil is the best oil on the planet. In my opinion I’ve been a mechanic for 40 years and have used just about every oil there is I choose Amsoil.

They are just a blender as many others are. They buy their base oil and ingredients blend them for their product. Some do their own thing, Amsoil does not.

If someone says the 4.0 needs zinc tell them to use the Amsoil Z-ROD. Designed for flat tappet lifters. Contains zinc plus anti corrosion protection.

I use shaffers supreme 9000 ..if I didint have it i would only consider amsoil if shaffers wasint available now.i can get that by the bucket thoe amsoil I cannot.so it’s a price conscience since I can have it delivered to me.and the guy will work with me on bigger purchases!patrick Yohe is the best!

Synthetic oil has less friction being round. means it can Bridge a microscopic gap and not get caught in it, if it's irregular it can catch into the microscopic hole and cause more friction and tear of the oil and not give such a good barrier between two surfaces.
You don't ship to the UK do you? know anybody in the UK sells it?

Auto manufactuers do not go by Oil Brand, they go by Oil Typ as stated in the Owners Manual, follow the service intervals for Hard Driving and the vehicle will "Wear out before the engin will give out".

Great if your lazy about maintenance, which most folks are. Hell, my neighbors don't even pop their hoods between oil changes at Jiffy Lube unless they need to put in washer fluid. Its your car and money, do your thing. Pulled apart too many engines past and present .

I want to switch my factory ATF Toyota fluid from my 2022 Tacoma to a full synthetic fluid like AMSoil but all of the master diagnostic technicians that I ask say it's better not to mix and just stick with fresh Toyota fluid. But it's a synthetic blend, not full.

Why do master diagnostic techs say it's not good to blend?

Please post some oil analysis to prove all things being equal that Amsoil protects better IE lower wear metals…
There are 2 main points that I see being pushed by Amsoil. 1) Long OCI which in my opinion is to just justify the price. 2) the cold pour point. I don’t need oil that can pour/flow at -50. I park in a garage an my coldest outside temp overnight in the winter is maybe -10.
