Halo Infinite - How To Fly Any Pelican In Multiplayer

At long last it's now possible to fly actual Pelicans again in Halo Infinite. It used to be possible in campaign but 343 removed that a long time ago. Here's how you can fly pelicans again!

This video made me think of a way to use the Pelican in multiplayer: As a flying platform. The pilot can place the Pelican in a spot of the map and activate a mode that makes the Pelican stand still, a bit like the Falcon in Reach. However, the pilot can leave the Pelican, and the Pelican would still stand even if no one is there. Even enemy faction could get the vehicle for themselves.
I think on paper this is a great way to add more combat sharing.

This tells me that if not this season, it will be in season 5 because if it's this finished with animations and everything, then I think it's almost close enough to release as its own forge vehicle. I tried it out and all it needs is some polish and the animations are a little unfinished but I think it's close...

Hey, someone just made a flyable Phantom set up through a prefab you can download and fly on any map. I wonder if we could do it with a Pelican. Of course, it would take figuring out how. I messaged the person who made the Phantom flyable.

So they really did work on the pelican for multiplayer? The animation tether for the pilot seat is just broken.

Still irritates me they didn't add it to forge even though its essentially almost finished, must be the shitty explosion state they couldn't spend more time working on.
