The Israeli Defence Force has announced the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. This came after a barrage of Israeli strikes hit Beirut on Friday.

Israel says Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was the intended target of the overnight strikes, as missiles hit the Iranian-backed group’s headquarters.

The official X account of the IDF has announced the Hezbollah leader's death. A post read: "Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorise the world."

An IDF statement read: "The IDF eliminated the so-called Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the terrorist organisation Hezbollah. The IDF also killed Ali Karaki, the commander of the southern front in the terrorist organisation Hezbollah, and a number of other Hezbollah leaders."

Hezbollah sources have told Reuters he is alive despite the heavy strikes.

This is slighted against Israel, I think this commenter is ignorant of what has been going on there for years.

Israel continues to "defend" itself against attacks by neutralising members of its opposition before they are old enough to hold a weapon. and to "deal with" women of "opposition bearing" age. A dedicated plan, carried out by a "dedicated" people.

You are absolutely right, Israel should raise white flag in order to be loved by the UK, playing the victim card will certainly make Israel stronger and safer.

Sorry mr moderator, you forgot to mention that everyone in the area has been warned over 5 days ago to leave. If the media houses like you guys have been saying things as they actually are, this world would probably be a better place. Anyway, just like media houses in Russia, China, etc, maybe you’re not allowed to, so I take my words back
