Israel says 'eliminated' top Hezbollah commander in Beirut strike • FRANCE 24 English

Israel said it killed a top commander with Hezbollah’s missile and rocket unit Tuesday as the Israeli military traded fire with Hezbollah again and the death toll from a massive Israeli bombardment climbed to nearly 560 people. Military officials said Ibrahim Kobeisi, who they alleged was responsible for launches towards Israel, was killed in a strike on Beirut. The military said “other key commanders” were with Kobeisi at the time of the strike, but officials did not say whether any of the others were killed or wounded. Meanwhile, thousands of people fled from southern Lebanon with the two sides on the brink of all-out war. FRANCE 24's James André reports.

Hezbollah is estimated to be between 50K-100K in size. Hezbollah has a huge grip over the population of Lebanon, and terrorism transformed Lebanon from a once thriving nation to a terrorist controlled one. They are paid by the Iranian regime in its pursuit to spread Islam across the world. Iran Regime (not the majority of its citizens) want to rule over the Middle East as it's initial goal. Close to Oct 7, Saudi Arabia was in talks to join the Abraham Accords with Israel. Iran and its 3H proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis) sought to disrupt this process and was the primary reason for their support.
