Its a disaster in Canada. Never up to date, occasionally we go to the US site to find the most up to date, if we are lucky. You can change an nvr then all of sudden, you can't shut off notifications. On the good side, you are awesome and I've spent many hours watching your videos and for that, I am very thankful.

Good Video ... problems with your sound / microphone? Hikvision firmware updates are a nightmare ... a junior programmer with a pen and paper could have designed a better system.

Firmware delivery is incredibly sub par with hikvision. How on earth can the biggest camera company in the world not have sorted this. Half of my cameras are not the latest revision so I can not download the firmware from their site. As the cameras do have everything available to find the correct firmware online, how can they not find the firmware automatically if you have a Hikvision Nvr??

I takes me many hours to go through my cameras, identify them and try to find the firmware. Who has time for that today? Also windows only for the cameras. What is this, the 1990s?
Of course the Chinese communist party owns 50% of the company, so I guess the product would be expected to work just as good as their other products, like socialism 😄

The latest US firmware is no good . The trick is to find the old firmware and do the opposite.
