I just binged the proverb videos and as a Hungarian person I love how similar some of our sayings are.
Like the apples not falling far from the trees, "az alma nem esik messze a fájától", and the being curious makes you old, "aki kíváncsi, hamar megöregszik" and etc etc and they just make sense to me too :D

I think the better the less you know the better you sleep is the equivalence of ignorance is bliss. Sometimes my colleagues at work asks me questions... and with a flash of a look I give... they say "I don't need to know the answer." Uraaa! Trust but verify! One of my favorite!
